Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton clashed at the Dutch Grand Prix when Leclerc, on a different strategy, held his team mate up, refused a pit call and pitted a lap later. Hamilton fans then flooded Leclerc's Instagram with abuse. On the final lap Leclerc went for an overtake on Hamilton at Turn 5, got squeezed, and after the flag pulled up alongside his team mate and shook his head. Leclerc says Ferrari never asked him to swap positions, only to pit, and put the final lap moment down to frustration.
